Simple, affordable and just what you need. Our Hikers' Tent is for anyone who loves the real camping experience but doesn’t want to bring and pitch their own tent. Perfect for cyclists and hikers passing through, but equally suited to anyone who simply wants to spend a night or a few days enjoying camping at its most basic.

The Hikers' Tent is a genuine De Waard tent: sturdy, cosy and made for the Dutch camping life. Inside, we’ve deliberately kept things simple, with two camp beds and mats for a little extra comfort. No unnecessary luxury, just a comfortable, dry place to crawl into your sleeping bag after a day outdoors.

Of course, you can use all the facilities on the campsite. The sanitary facilities are close by, and in our covered communal area you’ll find a fully equipped outdoor kitchen with pots, crockery and everything you need to prepare your own meal. There is electricity in the tent, so you can easily charge your phone or other devices.

The Hikers' Tent can be booked for just one night, making it perfect for hikers, cyclists and other travellers moving from place to place. But if you simply want to discover Terra Incognito in the most affordable way possible, this is our ideal budget option.
